little miss k-7 months

There is nothing a newer photographer loves more than to see the little ones you photograph come back.  What a joy to see how quickly a child grows and changes.  I recently had the pleasure of taking little miss k's 7 month photos.  She was one of my very first "official" infant sessions at the age of 2 months. I couldn't help but take a few extra photos!

Look at those curls little miss k grew over the last 5 months!

And she went from a lounger to a proud sitter.

So many faces.

Ready to play.

The 'oh so serious.

Proud.

I learned that little miss k still does not like tummy time.

Such a beauty.

Those eyes!  Those cheeks!

Ready to go.

Such a sweetie.

little miss a~newborn session

This was my very first REAL newborn session (where the baby was less than 2 weeks old and not my own child).  I have a new found respect for newborn photographers (it is anything but easy), as well as a new found interest in a different type of photography now!  There is something about the peacefulness of a new little life sleeping and being able to capture the precious gift this family has been given.  Although it's hard to have favorites, I have to say this session ranks up as one of my all time favorites.

k is 1

Our own sweet little k is 1!  Somehow, it always seems like more of a challenge to take pictures of your own kids.  The day we did photos, she was so tired and wanted to do anything but get her picture taken, but even her tired pictures are adorable!

little mister z

So the next few blog posts will be me playing catch up and showing (just a little) of what I've been up in 2015.  I'm still trying to find that sweet balance between being a busy mom of 4 young children and growing my photography business.

So, without further adieu, I give you little mister z-who recently turned 1.  Such a photogenic little boy and a wonderful family to work with.  I have really enjoyed getting to know them since starting my business and appreciate the many good recommendations they've given me.

I just can't pick a favorite!  They all turned out so cute.

little miss j

The oh so serious little miss j.  We were able to get her to crack a smile or two though.  :)  Sometimes the serious pictures are my favorites.  So beautiful!

K Family

Look at this beautiful family!  Of course I'll start this post with a collage of sweet little miss k's features (my favorite!).  Thank you so much K family for giving me the chance to capture some special photos for you and work on my newborn photography.
